Senior Program Director - Solar Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association - Boulder, Colorado- http://www.coseia.org/jobs/sr-program-director.html
COSEIA seeks an experienced Senior Program Director who will lead development and implementation of an innovative new program to help cities and counties become solar friendly communities. This is a high-profile leadership role, collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to help define key success factors that make a community solar friendly, as well as developing educational materials, conducting regional trainings, building an online toolkit of resources, and creating an effective recognition program. The goal is to develop this solar friendly community program so that it can be efficiently scaled up statewide and then nationally.
Funded primarily through a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, this is a 1-3 year staff position, with the possibility of transitioning to a more permanent full-time role, depending on performance and resources. Starting salary expected to be in the $50s-60s, based on experience and qualifications.
This role is based in Boulder, Colorado and offers significant schedule flexibility. Since there is a need to collaborate and have meetings throughout the Denver metro area and with communities across Colorado, a reliable car is required. May be required to work evenings and weekends on occasion and as needed. Travel outside Colorado is not anticipated during the first year, though 10-20% travel could be required in future years to successfully scale up and roll out this program nationally.
