Architects: AIA and State CE Self Reporting Credits Available Not just a conference - this
groundbreaking local event will bring together green building professionals,
local government staff, local officials, practitioners, and innovators to
educate, learn, inspire, and build connections. Most importantly, a portion of the program is designed to tap into the expertise of our members and participants.
Ideas2Action will be a collaborative event that will facilitate the translation
of ideas into actions to assist our community in achieving greenhouse gas (GHG)
reduction goals in the residential and commercial green building sectors. This
forum will provide the education and networking required for green building
professionals to gain the tools necessary to be leaders in this movement.
The conference is an interactive event: Be prepared for a day of building science education and energizing
discussions about how we can move our community closer to reaching our GHG
emissions reduction goals. Buildings represent arguably the largest single
contributor to our communities GHG inventory. At this event we will address the barriers you face in your every day work, what support you need to be successful, and how we build our community's capacity to meet the upcoming escalation in demand for building retrofits.
Join us as BGBG explores how to
significantly ramp up the scale of our implementation and improve the quality
of buildings in the Boulder Valley. Our current rate of energy efficiency
retrofit and renewable installation does not meet the challenge of our
community’s climate goal, BUT our community is ramping up – with dollars and
programs to turn energy inefficient buildings into comfortable energy
efficient homes and workplaces. Come to this event if:
- You want to know what specific skill
set you will need as the dollars and programs ramp up
- You want to make sure your business is well
positioned to handle the influx of dollars and projects
- You want to know what exactly is coming
to our community and how to get the work
- You want to be part of the solution!
Mark your calendars today and join us in
Boulder at the University of Colorado campus on Monday April 26. Stay tuned to this
website and your email inbox for more information on registration and more details on
speakers, workshops and more.
