About the Host

Tasha Halevi.jpgTasha Halevi comes to Footprint Radio directly from the sustainable building industry where she works with building design teams to achieve sustainable design and LEED goals for Architectural Energy Corporation.  Her passion for sustainable design is supported by a background in biology and design and the desire to assist in the creation of good design through thoughtful awareness, integration and respect for our existing and future surroundings.

The green building and design community is reaching out across the world to positively influence places that have been struck by disaster, disease and poverty.  On this months show we'll talk to Japanese designer Nosigner about how his website for designers became an outlet for immediate Tsunami relief last year.  We'll also talk to Gavin Studer about his Architecture for Humanity project using sustainable design to create solutions for medical needs in Africa. Bob Wettergren the Director of Construction at Flatirons Habitat for Humanity provides us with this month's green tip.
